  • Celebrating 40 Years in Railway Signalling

This year, Infinity Training is proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone: our Managing Director’s 40 years of service in the railway signalling profession.

His journey began as an apprentice with British Rail at Finsbury Park, where he laid the foundations of the knowledge and skills that have carried him through four decades in the industry. Since then, he has played a key role in the design, installation, and testing of signalling systems—helping to improve safety, reliability, and performance across the UK railway network.

Beyond his project work, he has been instrumental in developing the next generation of signalling professionals, sharing his expertise and mentoring countless colleagues. A great achievement has been designing and setting up a fully equipped practical signalling area at the Infinity Training Centre. This unique facility provides delegates with a hands-on learning environment, preparing them for real-world challenges and enabling them to build skills to the highest standard.

This milestone reflects not only his personal commitment, hard work, and dedication but also the values we strive for at Infinity Training. We are proud to recognise his contribution and look forward to continuing to build on this foundation for the future.

    New Points Switches

An exciting day with our new A switch arriving at Infinity Training, many thanks to all those who helped to make this happen for us. The new switch will be controlled by our RRI interlocking and powered by an IBCL, providing additional courses for our delegates to attend and practice, enhancing their existing skills.

This is our third full switch at our training centre and complements the existing A switch which is powered by Clamplocks and D switch which has tubular stretcher bars and an HW point machine.
