Who should attend

This course is suitable for delegates who are potentially responsible for maintaining, fault finding, repairing or testing of Schwihag Rollers.

Objectives

On successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Identify what each of the component parts of the Schwihag Rollers are
  • Install the Schwihag Rollers using the method recommended by the manufacturer
  • Adjust the Schwihag Rollers to the correct heights using the appropriate gauges
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on the procedures and test as required
  • Complete and record the reporting documentation

Learning approach

50% classroom-based with PowerPoint presentations, videos and visual aids

50% practical installing, adjusting and testing the Schwihag Rollers.

Theory and practical assessments will be carried out at the end of the course to check the delegates have fully understood the content.

Pre-requisites

The course is designed for delegates who have already attended either an HW2000 or Clamplock course or who have relevant experience of working on points.
