This course is suitable for delegates who work in a safety critical environment who are required to communicate effectively and check the understanding of their receiving partner.

By the end of the training course delegates will have an understanding in the following areas:

• Communication during emergencies
• Shift handovers communication and day to day discussions
• Remote communications between site workers
• Communication of hazards and risks to contractors
• Use of radios
• Labelling of tools/plant and equipment
• Communication of changes to procedures

The course is classroom based with PowerPoint presentation, active discussions and scenarios highlighting the importance of excellent communication.
Short theory and practical assessments are carried out to check delegates' understanding.

Delegates need a good understanding of the English language.
