This course is designed for signal engineers who are already Works Verification testers and looking at progressing their careers to become Functional testers for location circuitry.

On successful completion of the course delegates will be able to:

• Perform check marking of diagrams
• Perform location functional testing
• Carry out power supply testing
• Circuit function testing
• Perform strap and function testing
• Record and document test activities to the latest standards

30% classroom sessions with instructional demonstrations and practical exercises
70% practical working on live equipment under the supervision of the Instructor
Theory assessment followed by an independent one full day practical assessment on a variety of equipment.

Delegates should have achieved Module 3C competence and have a full understanding of wiring diagrams.
