This course is designed for any signalling staff who need to perform correlation work.

On successful completion of this course the delegate will be able to:

• Understand the requirements to work safely on a live working railway
• Carry out inspection and wire count of locations, equipment rooms, control panels and trackside equipment
• Carry out earth busbar and location checks on arrival
• Record legible correlation results
• Hand trace wires in to investigate incorrect diagrams

40% classroom based training using PowerPoint presentations and practical scenarios
60% practical based performing correlation in a live location case

A theory and practical assessment will take place at the end of the course to assess the delegates understanding and knowledge.

Ideally the candidate would have attended SPWEE and Diagram Reading training courses and have a good working knowledge of the railway infrastructure.
