The course is designed for experienced design or project staff who have a good working knowledge of signalling principles and who are able to read railway diagrams.

On successful completion of the course, delegates would have covered the following:

• Route selection and the PBI circuitry
• Route calling
• Points circuits
• Signal circuits
• Route holding, locking and releasing

80% classroom based with 20% practical appreciation of the RRI system from the panel to equipment and return indications.
Theory assessment to verify delegate's understanding and knowledge.

Delegates must have a sound knowledge of the design office and be able to read signalling diagrams.
