This course is intended to provide delegates with a full understanding of the use of a Disc Cutter and the method of carrying out these duties in a safe and efficient manner.

On completion of the course delegates will:

• Have an overview of Health & Safety Regulations
• Have undertaken an inspection of a Disc Cutter
• Understand and be capable of changing cutting discs
• Be able to state how to deal with defective equipment
• Understand the importance of using the correct fuel mix
• Be able to demonstrate the safe use of the tool

60% practical-based
