This course is a more advanced signalling diagram reading course. It is for those delegates who are looking at increasing their existing knowledge and already have a good signalling foundation.

On successful completion of the training course the delegates will be able to:

• Understand the more complex circuitry including points circuitry
• Be able to follow through Relay Interlocking diagrams and understand their principles
• Associate the diagram with the trackside equipment
• Understand the basic fault finding techniques and how to follow the circuits through to save time

Delegates will be refreshed on their basic diagram reading skills

80% classroom-based using PowerPoint presentations, various drawings and scenarios.
20% practical-based relating the drawings to the actual track-side equipment.

Basic Diagram Reading course or experience in reading diagrams and knowledge of nomenclature.
